Jess + Kadie

Love.
There are just so many things I want to say about this gorgeous wedding Kaysie Maye and I had the pleasure of styling in the hinterlands of the Sunshine Coast.
Lucky its already been said by On Trend Bridal in their latest edition of SAME SAME WEDDINGS MAGAZINE, first same sex bridal magazine to hit Australia.
These two beautiful souls got hitched before Australia said yes, because who cares? They love each other and they got married, end of story!
There were so many special moments of Jess & Kadies special day that we got to experience. So much beautiful gift giving, I literally cried more than once….and I didn’t even attend the actual ceremony!
Like seriously, Kadie got to play with an owl for like half and hour before she got to walk down the aisle thanks to her beautiful fiance’ knowing her unconditional love for them. So thoughtful, Jess definitely puts my husband to shame (just kidding honey, I love you).
Kaysie and I stayed in Montville the night before this styling session. Two brides, four bridesmaids, two Mum’s and two Flowergirls! Needless to say it was a BIG day…..
..full of laughs, tears and beautiful memories. Spicers Taramund Retreat definitely provided the perfect backdrop for this memorable occasion. Check out this beautiful video from the team at Lemon Tree Film House!
I achieved Kadie’s braid with the help of extensions and despite it raining most of the morning, the soft wave through her fringe managed to stay in. Even after playing with the Owl in the rain!
One bridesmaid from each side of the bridal parties had a high bun and a soft low twist. The symmetry of this bridal party just made my heart sing. These girls all look like supermodels, seriously how much do they belong in a magazine?
